Old Salem in the Spring

Don and I went to Old Salem. Buildings and gardens built by God loving, industrious people
that had a vision for all things beautiful. That place is good for my soul.

The weathered brick walls. I can imagine a woman wearing a bonnet,
looking out the window to see the local activities.

This back yard is a private residence. Don and I are getting ideas for our own back yard.
This is a nice design.

We were here on St. Patrick's Day, flowering shamrocks.

 A southern treasure, a Comelia

Phlox. Lovely

Magnolia. I love the south.

My foot, it follows the many, many, many feet that have walked these paths before me.
